About

The Africa Society was founded in Singapore in 1963. We currently have a strong community-following who support the goals and activities of the Society and who regularly come together to celebrate Africa. Our Society draws members from a wide range of professions, nationalities and across many business interests.

 

 

Today, the Africa Society exists as a registered Society in Singapore and is run as a non-profit organization by a volunteer committee whose main purpose is to bring together likeminded people with a common affinity for the beautiful continent of Africa and the many amazing cultures she represents. We provide a networking platform that can benefit members and society contributors while promoting Africa and its cultures in Singapore and raising awareness of selected causes.
